Amazing Summer Adventures—All classes feature "minds-on and hands-on educational fun." Ages 4 - 12.
Going WILD: 4 - 5 year olds, morning classes run from 10-11:30am, June 14th - 17th. Learn about our natural world, make art, use math, and explore nature!
A.M. Adventures: 6-7 year olds, morning classes run from 10:00-12:00 noon, June 14th - July 22nd.
Amazing Afternoons: 8-9-10 year olds, afternoon classes run from 1:00 - 3:00pm, June 14th - July 29th.
Prairie Explorers: 11-12 year olds, morning classes run from 10:00 - 12:00 noon, July 26th - 29th. Dissect owl pellets and participate in International Turkey Vulture Day!
Classes begin June 14th, Tuesday - Friday and run each week until July 29th and will explore aspects of cultural and natural heritage that will include: Eco-Art, Investigating Insects, Pottery & Storytelling, Archaeology Investigation, Radical Reptiles, North American Great Plains, ride the Trails of Long Lake, discover Incredible Water Works, create shifting sands, rock sculptures, and fossil features. Join us as we explore nature in a whole new way!
Classes are FREE of charge.

As one of the few known sites in North America to contain evidence of continuous human habitation spanning 11,500 years, the Lubbock Lake National Historic Landmark is a renowned archaeological and natural history preserve. The Lubbock Lake National Historic Landmark, a unit of the Museum of Texas Tech University is located at 2401 Landmark Drive on Lubbock’s northwest edge (accessible via marked Loop 289 exits, or following signs at US 84 (Clovis Road) through Landmark Lane to Landmark Drive).
