ALOCS is a sorority and a ministry that was founded in 1990 on the University of Texas at Austin campus. Later, ALOCS chartered a chapter on TTU's campus in 2005. In efforts to recharter and revive the Mu Kings chapter, ALOCS will be holding two events to give women the opportunity to learn more about this great organization.
Our mission statement: Building Women by Leading them into a Relationship with Jesus Christ ... Equipping Them to Effect Change in their Communities, Country and the World through Sisterhood, Education, Evangelism, Discipleship, and Service.
Students(undergrad and graduate), staff, and faculty can join.
ALOCS will have two events for women to come and see what the sorority is all about.
November 16, 2012 : Get to know Alpha Lambda Omega Christian Sorority, Inc. will be at 7 pm in the Toreador room, in the student union building. Come ready for food, games, and fellowship
November 17, 2012: Informal Interest Meeting/Brunch will be at 11 am in the Toreador room. Have brunch with the women of ALOCS as we discuss what rushing the sorority is all about.
Dress for each event is casual.
