Posting, tagging, sharing, and tweeting have become commonplace in our society, and it is important to be aware of your online reputation and to actively manage it. The TTU IT Division invites you to attend an active learning workshop to help you better manage your online activities.
The next session of this workshop is offered April 1 at noon.
Topics for this workshop include:
- The importance of your online reputation – why it matters;
- Tips for managing your online information;
- Lessons learned the hard way; and
- Tips for practicing safe computing in social media environments.
As members of the Texas Tech Community, a State of Texas entity, we are all responsible for safe computing practices and adherence to TTU Operating Policies, including the TTU IT Security Policies.

How to Manage Your Online Reputation, as well as other TTU IT Division ShortCourses, are held at the Advanced Technology Learning Center (ATLC), located in the west basement of the University Library building.
