School of Art Presents Graphic Novel and Animation Arts Exhibition
BIG HEADS, HEROES, AND DANCING DOGS
An Exhibition about Graphic Novels and Animation Arts

Opening Reception: Thursday, March 26th from 5:30-6:30 PM
School of Art South Gallery

This exhibition features artwork by Denise Guinn, Greg Harms, Annie Poon, Michael Nichols-Crowell, Casey Jex Smith, and additional works of School of Art students. The exhibition continues through April 5th.

In addition there will be screenings of 3 animated films presented in collaboration with this exhibition.

Waltz With Bashir – Sunday, March 29th at 7 PM at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

L’image Manquante (The Missing Picture) – Thursday, April 2nd at 7:00 PM in Human Sciences 169.

Couleur de Peau: Miel (Approved for Adoption) – Friday, April 3rd at 7:00 PM in Human Sciences 169.

Free Admission to all films with TTU ID.

The exhibition is organized by STACY ELKO, associate professor in art, with collaborations from Tournées French Film Festival 2015, presented by the Department of Classical & Modern Languages and Literatures, and the Voices of Israel Film Series, presented by Landmark Arts in the School of Art.  Exhibitions and other programs presented by the School of Art comes from a generous grant from the Helen Jones Foundation, with additional support from Cultural Activities Fees administered through the College of Visual & Performing Arts.
