PUAD 5348-001, CRN 35640 Selected Topics in Public Administration: Governing Urban Areas
Starts first summer session June 23rd through August 7th on Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00 - 8:50 pm. The course is taught by David Hamilton who has researched and published extensively on governing urban areas. The course is open to all graduate students interested in governance of urban areas.
A major focus of the course is the efforts of local governing systems to provide governance in metropolitan areas in response to growth and development. The course provides an in-depth analysis of the various approaches to provide governance in decentralized urban areas.
