Reception for photo exhibit: July 10, 2015, 5:00-6:30 pm (casual, come and go).
International Cultural Center
601 Indiana
Lubbock, TX 79409
This is the sixth year that the International Cultural Center has observed the dog days of summer with an exhibit of photographs that show dogs in all their diversity. Each photograph is accompanied by an exhibit label that informs the viewer about the dog's breed and country of origin.
During the reception, we will show Still Life with Animated Dogs at 5:30 and 6:00 pm in the ICC Auditorium. Edward Guthman, movie reviewer for the San Francisco Chronicle, recommends this 30-minute film by Pal and Sandra Fierlinger to "anyone who loves dogs." It received the prestigious Peabody Award in 2001. No admission fee.
