African American and non-Hispanic White men and women are needed for research
Healthy African American and non-Hispanic White men and women at the ages of 18-30 years are invited to participate in a research study that will examine the influence of race/ethnicity and gender on pain modulation. Volunteers will be asked to visit us in the Exercise Psychology Laboratory in Exercise and Sport Sciences Building at Texas Tech University twice, with each visit taking approximately 45 minutes. Financial compensation is available ($20.00), and no invasive technique is involved in this study.
