CAMPUS CRIME ALERT NOTIFICATION
TTPD CASE # 15-1733

On September 27, 2015, officers of the Texas Tech Police Department were dispatched to investigate sexual assault at the UMC Emergency Center. The incident reportedly occurred this morning during a social gathering inside a residence at Gordon Hall between the hours of 1:00 am and 1:30 am. A male student reported he was assaulted by a male student acquaintance.

A suspect has been identified.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Anyone who may have witnessed activity related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Texas Tech Police Department.

The Texas Tech Police Department cannot currently confirm there is a continuing threat to the campus community. However, campus residents are encouraged to remain vigilant of their surroundings and to immediately report suspicious activity by utilizing emergency blue phones, calling 911, or for non-emergencies by calling 806-742-3931 or 806-743-2000.
