OLLI Presents "Crossing the Digital Divide" Feb. 24 at 2:00pm

A large number of children continue to have little to no access to technology and Internet tools. Even when access is available, educators and caregivers may be unaware of how to navigate the options available for educational enrichment. This class will focus not only on issues related to accessibility but will also review a variety of free online educational tools that support children’s learning, especially in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Finally, important self-regulatory and motivation strategies will be shared to help organize and support children’s online learning.

  • Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016
  • 2:00-3:30pm
  • Fee: FREE for OLLI members & Carillon residents
  • Location: Carillon's Windsong Building, 4002 16th St., Caprock Room
