In Summer 1. , NS 2380 (Cultural Aspects of Food) and NS 4350 (Emerging Issues in Food Science and Nutrition) will be offered in Italy. NS 2380 satisfies the Texas Tech University Core Curriculum in Social and Behavioral Sciences and Multicultural Requirements.
This 21-day study tour will be in cities including Rome, Florence, Bologna, Venice, Verona, and Siena with numerous cultural sites and tours of food production facilities for Mediterranean diet foods like wine and olive oil.
