The TTU IT Division will be upgrading SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, on Friday, July 29th, 2016, starting at 8 pm and lasting up to 24 hours. SharePoint enterprise services will be unavailable to customers during this timeframe, until the upgrade is completed. The IT Division has been working proactively with area and department representatives regarding the upgrade, and has selected the best possible time, resulting in the least amount of impact to our customers.
Some new features of SharePoint 2013 include:
- OneNote integration with team sites - when a team site is created, a OneNote shared notebook is automatically created as part of the site.
- Organize Document libraries - drag and drop files between your desktop or any location using File Explorer and SharePoint
- Workflows - new workflow features enable more advanced, robust no-code solutions
