A serious vulnerability has been discovered in Apple OS X (Mac laptops and desktops), iOS (iPhones, iPads, iPod touch), tvOS (Apple TV), and watchOS (Apple Watch). This vulnerability can be exploited if you access a malicious webpage, or if you inadvertently download a specially-crafted image file onto your system or device. If successfully exploited, an attacker could gain access to sensitive information including passwords, documents, or photos stored on the device or accessed by another application. The following operating system versions are affected:
- OS X versions prior to 10.11.6
- iOS versions prior to 9.3.3
- tvOS versions prior to 9.2.2
- watchOS versions prior to 2.2.2
