Follow the Graduate Student Advisory Council on Social Media!
The Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) is an organization of graduate students dedicated to enhancing graduate student life at Texas Tech University. In addition to our monthly meeting & open forum during the regular academic year, you can find us online:

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ttugsac/
Twitter: https://twitter.com/TTUGSAC
Email: gsac@ttu.edu

Although we don't have regular meetings in the summer, we still have events and workshops planned for graduate students, such as the Graduate Student Career Workshop Series with the University Career Center. We announce these activities through social media and Texas Tech email.

GSAC

GSAC members collaborate with TTU graduate students, graduate student organizations, the Student Government Association, and the Dean of the Graduate School to address graduate student issues, produce academic and professional workshops, host social events, and participate in community service. We are also active members of the National Association of Graduate & Professional Students (NAGPS) and participate in state- and national-level legislative lobbying efforts on behalf of graduate students.

All graduate students at Texas Tech are automatically members of GSAC, and we welcome everyone to our regular council and commission meetings as well as to our workshops and events. The GSAC works through regular meetings of the elected council and through the work of its commissions focusing on specific issues of importance to graduate students. Our meetings include an "Open Forum" where graduate students may voice concerns and issues in an open and safe environment.

The Graduate Center

All graduate students are welcome to use the Graduate Center to study, meet, or relax anytime! The Graduate Center is open 24/7, 365 days a year and is located in the west wing basement of the Administration building. The Graduate Center also hosts the Graduate Student Writing Center, Statistical Consulting Service, and Library Research Assistance as well as many professional development and social events during each semester. Don't forget to bring your TTU Student ID to swipe to enter the Graduate Center.

Finding the Graduate Center may be a bit difficult if you have never been here before. You can use these directions to the Graduate Center to find us. We believe you will find it well worth the effort of finding us the first time!

Please follow us on social media for GSAC, campus, local, and national news & information relevant to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at Texas Tech. And let us hear your ideas, questions, and concerns!
