Landmark Arts Presents "Voices of Israel Film Series"

Landmark Arts in the Texas Tech University School of Art, in collaboration with Texas Tech International Film Series, presents Voices of Israel Film Series. The three films in the series showcase the creativity and diversity of Israeli cinema.

The series kicks off with the screening of Ari Folman’s Waltz with Bashir on March 29, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Subsequent films include Rama Burshtein’s Fill the Void and Joseph Cedar’s Footnote. These latter two films will be presented on the Texas Tech campus in English lecture hall 01 at 7:00 pm. Each of the screenings will include a guest speaker, with an introduction before each film and a short Q&A following. All films are free (Texas Tech ID required at Alamo Drafthouse).

These very different films showcase the power of narrative, memory, relationships, and the art of film. The series presents a unique opportunity to explore our world and common humanity, promoting diversity and inspiration for students and the public alike.
