"Y fueron a valer más": SPANISH FEMALE EMIGRATION IN SIXTEENTH-CENTURY PERU


Dr. Liliana Pérez-Miguel (Mayers Fellow-Huntington Library, CA; Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú) will explore the role of the first Spanish women in the formation of the economic, political and social structures of the conquest and the Viceroyalty of Peru.


A lecture in Spanish.
