Fall 2015 Graduate Course: Technology in Higher Education
EDHE 5001: Seminar in Technology in Higher Education is an examination of the various roles technology plays in higher education and the effects it has on diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, administrators, and policymakers. The course will cover topics related to social media, administrative systems, financial impacts, teaching/instruction, distance education, student affairs, and others. Students will come away with an understanding of the uses of technology in higher education and the variety of managerial, organizational, social/cultural, and academic concerns related to technology in the college and university context. As technology continues to evolve rapidly and sometimes unexpectedly, savvy higher education professionals must be equipped with knowledge of these issues to ensure that colleges and universities can keep up and thrive as the 21st Century progresses.

The course will be taught by Dr. Andrew Koricich in the College of Education and will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 8:50 p.m. Because this is a special topics course, this may by your only chance to take advantage of this opportunity. For more information, please contact Dr. Koricich at andrew.koricich@ttu.edu.
