FIFA 2016 Tournament (Cash Prizes!)

As you all know, fifa 16 is finally here! Pi Tau Sigma will be hosting a fifa tournament on Saturday the 17th of October. Come and show off your skills and win prizes in the process. The details about the tournament are shown below: 

 

TOURNAMENT RULES 

  1. We may have a qualifier round depending on if we have more than 32 people sign up. The maximum amount of people that we’ll sign up for the tourney is 64. You may use any team you prefer at this point. In the event that we register more than 32 people, the qualifying round will be two legs. This means that you are guaranteed to play at least two games. 

 

  1. You are to pick seven different teams after making group stages and you can only use each of those seven teams once in the course of the tournament. 

 

  1. The tournament is going to be round-robin (similar to the world cup) so you are guaranteed at least three more games if you make it to the group stages. 

  

  1. Knockout stages are going to be home and away (two legs) and away goals rule apply. 

 

  1. The tournament will start at 10:00 am and will be an all day event. This means we are there until we're done so you should plan accordingly! 

 

GAMEPLAY RULES 

  1. Difficulty will be set to legendary 

  1. Half length is 6 minutes 

  1. You may configure controller settings to whatever you prefer 


Prizes will be based on the amount of people participating in the tournament. The more people that sign up, the higher the cash prizes will be. 


Also there will be Pizza for lunch! 


Entry fee is $15. To reserve your spot, stop by the Pi Tau Sigma office in Mechanical Engineering Room 225K or contact David Ajibero at david.ajibero@ttu.edu. Note that you only reserve you spot by paying the application fee. Once we have 64 people, we will stop signing people up. Location to be determined.
