If your department or group is having an event on campus we encourage recycling at these events. University Student Housing is sponsoring a Recycle Bin Loan Program. We have recycling bins to check out for any campus events. The bins can be delivered and picked up from the event location or they can be picked up from the Recycle Center behind Housing Services.
If your group would like to request bins for your event it is very easy, just fill out the online form. The form can be found on the USH website http://housing.ttu.edu/gogreen/ and click on Borrow Recycling Containers.
We encourage everyone to recycle. All of the recyclables are sold and 100% of the money made from the sale of the recyclables is given back to the students through scholarships. We have given $55,000 in scholarships since the program's inception three years ago.
