The Texas Tech Percussion Program will showcase its Marimba Ensemble performing classical adaptations and works composed for the marimba ensemble medium. 10 marimbas will grace the stage of Texas Tech's Hemmle Recital Hall. One marimba on stage was built in 1908! If your favorite team is not playing in Sunday's Superbowl, come hear the Texas Tech Marimba Ensemble as they prepare to go on tour and cap it off in a performance at the Texas Music Educators Association Conference in San Antonio, Texas.
