Each year the U.S. Postal Service issues a new postage stamp in their Black Heritage Stamp Series featuring famous statesmen, scientists, artists, musicians and actors, as well as others.
The Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library has on display reproductions of 26 different stamps culled from the beginning of the series in 1978.
The exhibit will run through Feb. 29.
